Black Forest Trail

This 42-mile loop located in Tiadaghton State Forest features rugged terrain with steep climbs, awesome vistas, waterfalls, and wildlife. It's one of the premier backpacking trails in the East. Marked with orange blazes. Location: Trailhead is located approximately .25 mile west of Slate Run (village), along Slate Run Road, Lycoming County.
